just checkin to see who is running what.. and what you guy think the best setup is for turboD D16y8.

i have an extreme honda power cap(msd) and a blaster 2 coil.. i tryd running it off of the stock ignition but at 5500rpms the engine starts misfiring the detonating!
i switched back to stock for now, should i get a controller for it, ie; AL6 or sci cdi or something like that?

the honda internal coil is better than any external after market coil as long as your staying under ~~320whp. use the stock honda cap as well it is the best quality made. My buddy in the shop has so many problems with people upgrading there ignition way befor it is required. I believe you would be alright running the msd if you were to get the entire ignition box. otherwise if reinstall the internal coil. if it says anything i just installed a b18c1 turbo in my civic. motor owner before me had a msd external blaster coil. 3 seperate shops told me to install my internal coil from my d series and run that with the d series cap. works perfect.

like i said im back to stock now prob just keep it that way. i gonna go for the box and try again just cuz the money is already spent.. if it still runs like crap then to ebay it goes. and i will stick to stock
