Default msd ignition

i have a msd 6al box that my cuzin gave me. is there anything else i need to install it on my car? he had a 96 teg and i have a 93 hatch.

I would go with external coil. You will need a cap and coil from MSD

Are you making over 300whp?

If no, don't bother with it - the stock ignition system is quite capable up to 350whp.

oh lol well it was just a hand me down... thought it'd be a good learning experience to put it in, *plus what ever the crap says..... it improves mileage blaw blaw blaw probably bs but yeah. i said the same thing to "THE TORNADO" and ended up getting that... lol
