Movement
I'm experiencing movement in the engine/transmission on acceleration. Whenever I start from stop at 1st, and give it gas, there is some kind of movement going on that goes on only in 1st until I get to about 1500-2000rpms, after that it's smooth. I thought it was due to movement in tranny and after putting windo-weld in the front lower mounts the tranny movement went away; but this problem is still there. It seems like something internal in the tranny, maybe clutch engagement issue, possibly the pressure plate spring needs to be changed, or maybe the clutch is too soft to push the plate enough into place, or maybe the clutch is just worn out and doesn't grab like it's supposed to. Sometimes there is slipping but it's very rare... so I'm inclined to think it has to do with the pressure plate.
Anyway experienced something similar? What was the problem in your case? Any ideas?
Sorry for the run on sentences--kinda tired, didn't get any sleep last night.

Re: Movement (civic_driver)
Sounds to me like a worn rear mount, I know you said you put some "stuff" in there but perhaps that has broken free as well giving you your movement again or has arrested it to a point and your still getting it when the engine is under the most strain on acceleration from a dead stop.

I'll check the rear mount... The only mounts I "fixed" with windo-weld were the front lower ones since they appeared worn out.
Do I have to take out the rear mount in order to check it for deterioration? Can I remove the mount without jacking the motor/tranny? I just wanna inspect it to be sure it needs fixing.
