I did research on this when doing my CX hatchback and I got the same answers from every source I talked to.
DOT5 is intended for much smaller braking systems found on motorscylces and is supposedly very air-proned in cars and needs frequent bleeding according to all those I aksed.
I run ATE Super Blue because it had one of the highest wet and dry boiling points of any brake fluid that wasn't DOT5.

same results that I found. I'm currently using ATE Type 200 (same as superblue, just different color).

Cool thing about ATE is that you can use the Bue and Gold versions (same ****, different color) and completely flush the system of one color if you ever want to change all of the brake fluid.
Next time I want to completely bleed out my braking system I'll just buy the Gold and bleed until I get gold in my bleeder tank.

we will be trying motul out in the race car at the next race because.....i have fried ate super blue, ap racing 551......
ate was good for my car but the race car is seeing 10-15 mphs more per straight which is alot more heat build up when on the brakes....
dan i'll let you know how it goes....
