motors sounds weird. need help!!

motors sounds weird. need help!!
I just changed out my valves and now it making some wierd noises kinda like a pinging and rubbing sound. Is it making the noise because of the new valves breaking in?? thanks for the help!!

That's nice but not what I asked. Did you just replace them or did you do a complete check of the valve guides make sure they were in spec? Did you send the head out and have the new valves cut to the seat? or did you do them yourself old school and use valve grinding compound? I could keep going but I think you have the idea. just saying I used this book and followed it step by step doesn't give us much to go on without the book and page numbers in front of us that you followed
