Default motor swap questions

i have a 99 civic dx 4 door. i took out the sohc v motor, and im about to drop in a built b16. first question:
i am worried about my compression being to high. with these parts on can anyone tell me what kind of compression ill be looking at?
skunk2 high compression valves
skunk2 dual valvesprings
skunk2 titanium retainers
shaved head .003
.020 over p73 type r pistons
jdm 00 itr cams

second question:
my car is obd2b. but i wanna run the motor as obd1, so i can run my p28 ecu
i got a 95 civic ex vtec engine harness, and a 94 civic ex under dash wire harness.
will i have any problems with the wiring on my motor?

lastly:
with my skunk2 internals, which cams would be better to run?
jdm 00 itr's or skunk2 stage 2. im hoping the itr's are good enough so i dont have to spend more money.

also any help or tips on doing this swap will be greatly appreciated. thanks

roger

well i dont know much about the high compression skunk2 valves but i played around with a compression calculator and came up with between 10.5 and 10.9:1 compression. but why did you put itr pistons in when b16 pistons (pr3) have i bigger dome(higher compression)?
2nd) shouldnt have any problems running the p28 since you have obd1 harnesses already in the car.
last-havent looked into either set of cams so cant help u there, sorry.
the swap is straight forward B series into civic. plug and play swap. have fun

your compression is going to be higher than 10.9 type r pistons are 11.4/1 if i'm not mistaken. secondly buy a obd2-1 conversion harness.you might have to change a few things but it is easier than changing a whole engine and under dash harness.

well the reason i got type r pistons is because i found brand new ones for really cheap. plus at first i was gonna go all type r internals, but instead bought skunk2, but im sticking with the itr cams.
whats the difference gonna be between stock b16 pistons and .020 oversized type r pistons?

and whats the chance i will hit 200 whp with this setup. whats some tips so that i can make 200 or more all motor. without spending too much money. thanks

good luck passing emissions pal. sucks going from obd2 to obd 1, trust me. you'll most likely have to be exempt. unless you want to pay the $$$
