motor question --noobish

Default motor question --noobish

i have a 99 civic with a d16y8 in it, i want to put a jdm motor in it, wat D-Series motor can i put in mind, with vtec? and would fit directly in if it can. please and thanks. and where can i buy motors besides hmo? thank you

But you wanna go with hmo. Sorry but you cant beat em. haha.


And you can put any d motor in it. Or for that matter.. even any B, or K.

Just gotta have that cash flow, or the know how's.
But if you wanna stay with a D, alot of people are gonna recommend the D15 b-vtec. Which i only hear good things about.

thanks, on hmo the only d15b is for 92-95, wat else would i need besides the motor to fit it into a 99, lik ecu and stuff?
