Default motor problem

my car is just now acting up a little weird


like when i am in first gear gaing speed from 0-2500rpms the front of my car feels like it is shaking hardcore... i dont know what this could be... also when i shift into third it scratches if i shift after 3k but before that it is just fine.. i dont know its just absolutely weird.

sounds like your axle is out of balance, bent, or the vibration dampener fell off.

your 3rd gear grind is the synchro, try good tranny oil.


ok... i re-read your problems. did they both start happening at the same time or comepletely different times?

if they happened at the same time then sounds like you may have broken off a piece of the clutch. Does it shudder when you engage from a stop? any clicking sounds coming from the tranny? Harder to downshift into 1st gear? try slowly putting the shifter into each gear, see if other gears grind too.

they started acting up around the same time i believe well i noticed them around the same time...


the thing is that it doesnt always happen its like an on and off problem...
