Default motor mount woes

just got my ls vtec back together and tried using the same mounts as I did on my b16. they are after market innovative mounts. when I put the motor in, using the same tranny it was tilted back really bad (head towards firewall) I have tried putting on a diff tranny and ac side mount (3 bolt aluminum one) and I still cant get the bolts in the rear mount. my VC is also hitting my hood as well as my ram horn. I can get pics on request... Im lost here. I thought all B series mounts would work : /

You have to use the b16 driver mount it 2 bolt and other b series have 3 bolt. Use the mount off the b16 mount and you shold be fine.

Iv tried that. I even went as far as switching the mount (one that bolts to the engine) to a 3 bolt style. it still tilts back bad. so bad it is causing shifting issues.

any one have any ideas?
