motor mods

Default motor mods

i ran my car on the track, and it ran a 17.3 in the 1/4 mile. so i want to do some motor mods.i have the 1.6l sohc v-tec.i am wondering what b-series motor will be the best for my car, and if i am able to put a dohc head on my 1.6l motor.if you could give me some feed back on this and tell me where i can get a b-16,18,20 and how much they run. thanks alot bye

Nope DOHC head won't work. You'll need a full swap. You need to elaborate more. How much are you looking to spend? What year and model is your car? What are your goals for it? You're best bet is to look around using the SEARCH function in the upper left hand corner. It'll never steer you wrong my friend.

92-95 coupe/hb w/swap or turbo after u sell urs.

$2500 is kcutting it kind of low for a swap. Maybe you could get a B18B (Acura Integra LS/RS/GS) engine. Is a 1.8 L DOHC, non-VTEC engine. If you really want VTEC you could save up for a B18C, which IMO is the best motor to start out with if your an a budget.
