Motor Build up or swap?
I have a 94EG with a SOHC 1.6 in it atm. I was wondering if i could get any advice on what i should do to improve my cars power for the cheepest price. I do have a jdm b18b1 chillen in my garage and i would like to drop that in there but all i have is the head and block. SO what would be better/cheaper or what would some of you do? Spend the money get all the parts for the b18 or build up the SOHC.

Re: Motor Build up or swap? (devious)
B18. Save some gas with the SOHC motor you got and use the left over money to build the B you got in your garage.

The best gains for the money is a stock internal turbo setup. You can safely make 220-240whp with a good tune and quality setup. Check into the Forced Induction forum and read the FAQ...

Re: (Schister66)
Yes it is going to be a daily Driver. I'm not looking to have the fastest car. But I am gonna autoX when I have time. The motor I have in my car now is shitty I don't even know how many miles is on it. I bought the car from someone that swapped his b16 out and just threw in this sohc. The ecu is bad wiring is all messed up looks like someone rewired the vtec so its on all the time or something. I dunno like my avatar says I'm a noob. I'm learning as I go. Thanks for everyones help.
