if you are referring to the JDM version. it would come out of a 88-91 Civic/CRX. people simply put the 1 on the end to denote that it is a generation 1 engine. this is not the way to do so. So all in all it will be a B16A.

to my knowledge of hondas and acuras and in the passed 5 or so years ive been messing with them, i dont think there is a B16A1 in exhistance

It was actually the del Sol VTEC (EG2), not the del Sol Si (EH6).

The del Sol VTEC had the B16A3 only in '94-95. For '96-97, the engine was stamped B16A2. Thus, the USDM OBD-1 B16A was a B16A3, and the USDM OBD-2 B16A was a B16A2. These engine stamps could also be found in European markets.
