Default Moonroof closes by itself
I drive with my moonroof vented, and every now and then it will close by itself. Sometimes the moonroof motor stays running after the moonroof itself is closed. I fiddle with the close, vent, and open buttons but the motor keeps trying to close the moonroof. My cousin's girlfriend has a 5th generation Si hatchback, and she had the same problem. Has this happened to anyone else?

No. sounds like an electrical short/malfunction.

check the wiring. sounds like a short to me. start at the switch and work your way to the sunroof. also could the sunroof relay have gone bad?
