Modifications needed to fit ITR bpipe on EG?
93 DX hatch with an LS swap. DC header, testpipe, and tanabe racing medallion. i want to switch to something more quiet, such as the itr exhaust...
anyway, i've heard something to the effect that the bpipe is too long??
Can someone explain what the differences are ? thaks

the b-pipe is to short, you have to cut and lengthen it about two inches, or you can get the ITR exhaust manifold, and cat, with those two parts you don't have to cut.

Re: Modifications needed to fit ITR bpipe on EG? (Gump)
i had about the same question... i have a type r swap on a 95 cx. with dc sport headers, would the stock type r exhaust fit on mine? my exhaust is currently too loud for my taste , so i would like to get somehting very quiet without restricting the engine itself.

Re: Modifications needed to fit ITR bpipe on EG? (Toda Party)
I just recently encountered this same problem on my 92 CX. The hangers on the b-pipe line up just fine, but in my case a 4.5" extension was needed to connect to the cat. I have a 99 GS-R header and cat. I am under the presumption with an ITR header and cat the b-pipe will in fact bolt right up. Here is mine:

Re: Modifications needed to fit ITR bpipe on EG? (Toda Party)
just to update this for future "searchers"
on my setup, with DC header and i think a random tech cat, the bpipe was short by 2 inches like gump said
i couldn't fit the ITR axleback due to my sway bar being there, i can't tell for sure if the actual can would fit because even if the sway bar wasn't there, it still would've been a little tight
shrug

Kinda OT but...
I'm getting the t1r b-pipe and spoon n1 axle back for my hatch. When i get my gsr or typeR swap will i have problems with the exhaust?

Re: Modifications needed to fit ITR bpipe on EG? (Toda Party)
itr mani / cat / b-pipe works fine, hangers and all. the axle back is the problem. my GReddy SP EH3 axle-back needs to get lengthened about an inch and the flange flipped 20 degrees or so.
oh, you can't hear the car 1/3rd of a block away at 7-8k rpm.
*shrug*

Yeah its not too loud with a good resonator.
My set up is DC JDM 4-1, Carsound Cat, Integra B-Pipe. All fit perfectly to stock hangers. I did have to get a custom axleback though, but I wanted a magnaflow so it was all good.
