Modification suggestions. EK B16
I have about $600 to spend as of right now. Technically I have a lot more than that but I will not over extend my budget. I may spend a little more if need be. Anyway, I am looking at either a full cat back exhaust, or an AEBS intake manifold with a hondata TB gasket, Omni 70mm throttle body, and a PLM SMSP style header. I am new to Hondas, so as of now I can not figure out what would be the best route to take in the long run. The car's primary purpose is just a toy. It is something I can just go out and AutoX if I want or take out on a Sunday cruise.

For starter most people start with intake, header, and exhaust. You can buy buy quality parts or you can buy cheap parts. If you buy quality parts(which I strogly suggest you do) you are probably going to exceed your $600 budget.

I would like a good 4-2-1 header. The problem is the price. I know a SMSP style is around 400 or so. So far I havent seen a S2 4-2-1 yet. Perhaps I am looking in the wrong places? What would be a good size cat back for the B16? 2.25 or 2.5?

I personally prefer the apexi ws2 exhaust because it is nice and quiet and still has a deep tone. It also doesn't sound like a fart can like You hear on most honda's and it will keep the cops off your back. I like the hytech header But you could also get a type r header for a fairly decent price. As far as intake aem or a password jdm carbon intake(aka whale *****) will do.

Right now I have the Injen SRI. It isnt bad for what it is. The previous owner just have a filter stuck on the throttle body. I may just order the WS2 and do more research while I save for a good header....won't take long to afford one. It is just Christmas coming up so a lot of traveling will be done.
