Default missing something?

hi im using my friends account, but i was wondering what my car was missing? i have a 93 civic coupe and i bought it with a swapped b16. but it looks like two pieces are missing. the picture below shows where something should be but its not in my car. its missing on both sides. can you guys tell me what belongs there? im thinking its a motor mount but i want to make sure. thanks

i think you're refering to the torque mount?

you're supposed to have a mount there where the red box is, and another one bolted onto the tranny...

Ehh.. well.. It'll put more stress on the rear mount. I've heard of people driving without it but I wouldn't keep it off that long. I had both of mine off once when I was filling in the torque mounts with window weld. I had to wait like 2 days for them to dry. I HAD to take my car somewhere and I drove without them, and the car was SUPER SMOOTH but my shifter did move when I would get on or off the accelerator. Again, don't keep them off too long.

But again, from that pic it only looks like you are missing the AC compressor. It looks to me like the torque mount is there.

you can drive on it, but i wouldn't recomend reaming on it until you get one.

You will be fine if the mount isnt there. It is that the same bracket to bolt on the A.C. compressor. You should have no worries lots of people don't have them. If you would like to put it back in your car not difficult at all.
