Default Missing Engine ground

Ok, I am trying to diagnose why my cooling fan won't work and I want to see if this is the case before I go through all the trouble of trying to test relays and such. There is a engine ground wire that is suppose to go from the front driver's side of the valve cover gasket to the front Radiator Support. Would that missing ground wire cause the fan not to work? The missing ground if you all wish to know is Engine Ground A T3-G2, according to the service manual.

That one doesn't do much.

Make sure the thermostat ground has a good connection and that the temp sensor next to it is working.

Gotcha. Will do. Is there a way to test the Thermoswitch?

Unplug the switch on the thermostat housing and then install a jumper wire across the 2P wire harness connector. The fan should now run whenever the key is in ON(II). If so, the switch itself is probably bad.
