misfiring, stalling and a bright cel whats the problem?
Yes i have searched looked at the misfiring problems and so on but now, i swear it just keeps getting worse and i don't know what other parts to replace.. I have a misfire in cyl. 1,2,3,4 and a cel for an 02 sensor that i knew about, and is being replaced.. but the misfires i don't know what to do, i did a cap and rotor, plugs wires, checked timing and adjusted the valves. I hate to replace the entire distributor for 150$ and that turn out to not be the problem.. are there any other small things that can cause this besides the last thing left the distributor? I do not know if this pertains to the misfiring but every so often when i go to start my car it bogs like hell in the morning under full throttle, so i let it sit for 2 hours and come home and take it out and its fine. I just don't understand this and what is wrong so please help and i have emissions date coming soon and they go off of the cel so i need these things cleared up! thanks

When my primary O2 sensor went bad, it caused symptome similar to what your describing. Sputtering at idle and stalling. A bad o2 sensor will cause your car to run rich, and you gas mileage will suck ***.

blow your plug holes out with air, maybe water or liquid or something is in there or dirt, also check the spark plugs if they are arcking by seeing if there is any black/white marks or damage.

my plugs are really white as in im running lean or hot.... and yes all the plugs are in the rite order i havent messed with them before this problem started happening

Have the O2 sensor replaced first and see if that clears your codes before you do anything else.

Then definitely replace that O2.......like I said it will cause you to run rich as hell....and give you misfire like syptoms.
Does it run okay under throttle? Mine did.
