I have a D16Y8 and i'm throwing a random misfire code and cylinders 1-4 are throwing misfire codes. I just finished building the head and that's when the problems started. I've already replaced the plugs and wires. I need to know some of the options that it could be.
Here's my setup:
Crower Stage 2 Cam
Crower valves
Crower springs/Retainers
Adjustable Cam Gear
walbro fuel pump/aem fuel rail
and just about every bolt on

I'm pretty sure that the problem does not reside within the fuel system and i've checked the valve clearances and they are all good. I don't think the injectors are a problem either. Everything was fine before the head was removed and I'm positive that I connected everything back up. Any help or ideas would be very much appreciated. I tried searching, but nothing real useful turned up.

Check all the engine grounds that you disturbed during the head job...might fix it.

I did all that...oh well, I just took my car into a shop to have them look at it. Thanks though.

my car threw the same code, turns out it was my fueul pump that took a dump. CEL went away and ran like a champ after i put a 255 in.
