Misfire all cylinders
I have a 1999 civic ex which just started to shake everytime I would accelerate yesterday and today the check engine light turned on and it even started to blink at one point but it stopped blinking. Now before this I had take the car to get tested for emissions test and it failed due to the catalytic converter so I looked online and i found out that scotty kilmer had luck putting one gallon of lacquer thinner in the fuel tank. So i tried that and about two days of driving this started to happen. Is there any suggestions of what could have gone wrong?

Re: Misfire all cylinders
Why would you do that?? I would drain the tank, put fresh gas, prime the old fuel/lacquer lol out of the fuel filter(with it disconnected into a bucket) for 10 minutes. Then put on a new fuel filter, change the spark plugs, run seafoam through it. After I would get a new cat welded on which should've been done the first time to avoid all this.
