misfire!

Default misfire!

hi, ive got a delsol vti (b16a2) and its got a misfire, its more noticable under light loads and especially around 3000rpm, also below 3000rpm it doesnt seem to have any power and bogs down. Ive changed plugs leads rotor arm, dizzy cap and o2 sensor, and really am getting stuck for ideas! please help!!!!! also im getting no fault codes and my mpg seems to be suffering thanks for any help!!!

Your timing might be off, this could cause a misfire. Also a clogged injector could be the culprit. Might want to adjust your valve clearance as well just to be sure that isnt affecting MPG. My d16y8 is misfiring and its due to the TDC not being correct. I believe you want to line it up TDC with the middle mark in the group of 3.

the timing should be ok ive checked and checked again done it according to the manual, anyway of testing injectors?

Im not entirely sure how to check the injectors. You might be able to hear if it isnt doing its job properly. I'm sure someone here will chime in and explain how to do it.

Any other indications, like bouncing tach needle above 5000rpm ?

Did all the plugs look about the same?

tach needle fine, however im trying to find someone who wouldnt mind swapping dizzies with me to test!
