Default Minor Problem can anyone help?

I drive a 97 ek with a jdm B16a. Sir2 engine. When the engine is cold it idles pretty high. when i drive the car when the engine is cold it will start to surge. until the engine reaches operating temp. when it reaches operating temp it will idle fine. Does my car need a tune up? Is there something wrong with one of my valves maybe? Can someone help. this problem its kinda annoying.

Try looking for any vaccum leaks, check the idle adjustment screw.

revs around 1500-2000. When you first start it. then idles normally when reaches operating temp. but when warming if the engine is revved, it on occasion will start surging. Or say if the car is started then driven right away, car will surge when idling at a stop.
