i just got the head on and everything, but the car wont start, what do you think the problem is? it wont turn over at all

it has a minime y8 on a y7 block with a p2p ecu wired up to the stock harness with all wiring done

please help, it makes the trademark honda whine (chu chu chu) before it starts then it wont do anything after that

sorry its the wrong link, but basically it is making the starting sound but hte ignition never kicks in, do you think it could be the ignition coil or the ecu?

ok, no spark coming out of the distributor, even switched the ignition coils, suggestions?

i'd suggest listening to see if the fuel pump comes on for a second when you turn the key on. theres a good possibility that the ecu ground isn't hooked up on the thermostat housing. that'll ruin your day.

teh fuel pump does not turn on after 1 second, in fact, it doesnt turn on at all, what do i need to do?

If you're still getting no spark, check the igniter.

check basics!! spark... fuel...

so you say there is no spark? is there fuel? unplug fuel return hose (out of the fuel pressure regulator)... hold a rag behind, and have a friend turn the key from 1-2, 1-2... let us know if there is fuel...

i had the same problem... there was spark, and fuel came out... still didn't start...

try... main relay!! (mine started up after main relay was changed)

there is fuel and the main relay is fine, it starts up now but screeches to hell and dies

How is your timing? There is obviously spark now since it started.

timing is fine on the belt, i think it could be the timing of the distributor

its prob. your ground i had the some prob. i took off my grounds an went with 4g wire an it kicks ***. Its the little things you do that counts when it comes to swaps

How's the tension of your alternator belt? Sounds loose to me.
