Default Mini Me swap problem

I am wondering if I need to buy and install a knock sensor when i do my mini me swap...any info will be helpful. Do I have to install a knock sensor?

Only if the ECU you're using is looking for a knock sensor. What year car is this going in, and what ECU are you going to be using?

what kind of mini me? some doesn't require a knock sensor ^^ Like a D15B7 block doesnt' have any..

I am using a y8 head on my y7. I have everything pretty much. But then i read i need to drill and tap in a knock sensor. I am using the p2p ecu off an ex.

you don't need to drill and tap. there's a hole for in right on the back of the block next to the alternator and its pre threaded. but yes you do need a knock sensor for that ecu.
