I'm pretty sure you're gonna need a OBD 1 - OBD2 Jumper harness and a OBD 2 Distrutor. and maybe a OBD-2 ECU. I'm not forsure though. i plan on doing my mini me swap soon but seems like to much work.

you're going to need an adjustable cam gear. because of the way the timing is with the y8 cam.

what do the two plugs have on them? the back of the motor should have:
iacv on the intake manifold
tps and map sensor on the tb
oil pressure sensor
fan switch on thermostat housing
intake air temp sensor on intake manofold

you will need a obd1 vtec d series dizzy you cant use the y8 dizzy with your harness

thats what i thought obd1 dizzy
well the car already ran and i havnt touched the timing or anything so idk if i do need a camgear
i do know i need a p28 and i know how to wire up vtec but the 3 sensors on the back all had places on the d15 harness i think there just emissions bs cause i have all the things you said hooked up^

good. it ran smooth and everything? may be a power loss though so its best to have a gear. have fun with it

i know what the two lips r for. if im correcto one wire is red and white and the other is green and white right but they have no connector just the pin. they should go to the coolant temp sensor i believe thats what it is called.. it shuld b the last sensor on the head towards the radiator. it should b next to another sensor way smaller.. all u have to do is get a connector and connect it i beleive.

You shouldn't need to get a cam gear, just make sure its in time and you can use your distributor on the mini me.. If you're wanting to wire up vtec on ur ECU, here is a diagram...

Oops, my bad dude, I didn't read all of your first post, you were saying something about the y8 head, you can use the obd2 distributor casing, but you would have to take all your obd1 dizzy stuff and put it into the obd2 dizzy casing.. that way they dizzy will line up with the bolt holes on the y8 head...
