mini-me on ek details
i did a search but it didn't work. Anyways i need some help on this topic i own a
97 honda civic hatch, i want a all-motor sohc so is it better t swap to an sohc vtec
d16y8 or keep my d16y7 and do a mini me has anyone in this board done it
if so please can somebody please show me a website or a how- to on this.

y7 block...88-89 teg d16a1 pistons...y8 headgasket....y8 timing belt,....y8 head..y8 intake manifold..b series TB(portmatched to manifold)...pick a cam of your choice...have flywheel shaved...get the ex tranny..dx tranny sucks..clutch..chipped sohc vtec ecu and afc...dyno time dyno time dyno time..

easiest way would be to just swap the head its pretty easy to do. u can use the 96 up d16y8 heads and also the head from the 92-95 ex/si (d16z6). u can either get an ex ecu or use an rpm activated switch to engage vtec. as was said before the ex trans would be a big help, i'd probably get the trans before the "mini-me".
