Mini me on which bottom end?
Ok I plan on doing a mini swap on one of my d15b7's but here is my situation. I had a hatch that was in a fire. The front was burnt and a lot of it under the hood was burnt but the bottom end and the transmission still look ok. This motor only had like 90k miles on it at the time.
Now I bought a del sol with the same motor but it has a lot of miles and leaks oil. I had plans of just pulling the block out of the hatch doing the mini me and replacing all the seals all while still driving my sol. That way I can have it all together then just do the swap in a day and be done.
But I'm a little concerned about the bottom end in the hatch with being in a fire. Should I try and do the mini me on it or do it on the higher mileage one in the sol?
