Miles Per Gallon b16a jdm
well did the search and nothing , the question is how is your gas milage on those b16a's mine is about 2.7 - 3.5 gallon on 100miles mostly highway driving 70mph , the 3gallon features a heavy vtec foot anyone with similar stats just wondering....

i can got about 250 on a full thank if i stay out of VTEC..but if i go in it...about any where from 175-200...on 10 gallons...of course i also have the wrong ecu for my car...

I got about 20-22 MPG city, if I had my foot in it. 25-28 MPG city if I set the shift light at 4000 and stick to it.

i got 320 miles to a full tank..with a USDM 2000 b16 into a hatch..runnin the p30 ecu..and the motors mildly modded...i/h/e/cams/intakemanifold

With USDM B16, 2.5" header-exhaust, I get around 28-30 mpg not hitting VTEC and about 25-27 mpg gunning it a lot. I'm thinking I could get more but I don't often let the needle go below 1/4 tank.

This was with a chiped ecu!!
I had a p30 in for awhile, Once i drove with a chiped p28 i never looked back! Helped with alot of mid range!

a 450 mile trip takes me a tank and 2/3rds usually. But that was with my old setup, to peep the new one, click below.

i used to get about 325-400 on gas tank with 50/50% driving (city/highway)
if anyone is interested I offer P30 programs for the p28, it gets the same gas mielage as a JDM p30 (of course knock and speedlimiter is disabled)

I have gotten close to 400 miles per tank by using a Field's vtec controller and a greddy a/f gauge. Great investment. I just got up to cruising speed and then just lean out the fuel. Works great.
BTW, using a JDM ITR ecu. I also have a Mugen ECU that I do the same thing with...
