The question is are you in need of money? If so then sell it, if not than keep it for a continuing project. You seem hesitant and seems like you're not ready to let go of your car. I would keep it but if money is an issue then you have to decides whats more important.

Get it as close to stock as you can (stock engine/suspension/cosmetics)
Sell those pieces and sell the car as stock.
That will get you the most money imo

I have two kids and a swapped out hatch as well. My sons love the car, except for the lack of AC... I will be putting the AC back in but have no plans at all of letting the car go.

If I were you, I would keep the car until it became absolutely necessary to sell it. If you get rid of the car, you still need to buy another car to replace that one. You do have to have some form of transportation to get you and your kid around town. So, might as well keep the car you love, instead of selling it and buying some stock POS.

I would definitely keep the car until you have no choice but to sell it. Remember, you can fit a carseat in the backseat of a hatch. Unless you already have two back there . Sweet ride btw

im kinda in the same situation as you, my girlfriend is due in december. im still not sure if i wanna sell my car or keep it and rock a recaro babyseat. just do what you feel is best. very nice car though, try for 8 grand.

You can pass the hatch down to your kid, teach him or her something about cars, work on it with him or her and one day it will become a classic.
