Might have to re-wire the o2...any dangers?
Allright there guys, I just picked up a "slightly used" Chikara header for my z6. As you all know, the o2 sensor is located on the upper portion of the stock manifold. On the header, though the hole is near the catalytic converter, and I was told i would have to "extend" the 4 wires to relocate the sensor. I know its something stupid, but is their any danger in doing this? I have to do this (or something) by tomorrow so I can drive to work!!

1. You don't "need" the o2 sensor to be hooked up to drive... I ran my car for months and months without one... it runs a little rougher but nothing serious.
2. MARK the 2 black wires.... mark them with which wire they should attach to on the other side... I didn't and guessed and it works fine... but I'm pretty sure I just got lucky... I'm pretty sure they're NOT both grounds but I'm not 100%.
other than that it's pretty easy... make sure you solder everthing and cover it good with shrink wrap tape and the supplied plastic cover... also try to zip tie it down as it trails back to the header keeping it as clear from any moving parts or hot parts as you can...
