middle vents on civic a/c wont blow

middle vents on civic a/c wont blow
its a 96 civic ex, for some reason the middle two vents will not blow out any air...the outer two are fine. any suggestions? Thanks

try putting it on recycle air instead of freash outside air. i know it might sound dumb but i had that same problem but when i switched it to vent and recycle it came out. dont ask me why. check freon too.

tried...and its not that cold air isnt blowing, its that NO air is blowing...is there a fan that services the middle vent only?

time to go digging around under your dash. A duct popped off or something. I've had the same problem in my old lude. But with that one it was the driver's side vent that wasn't blowing. It should just be a black plastic dusct that popped off if all of the sudden you're not getting any air flow.

There is only one fan. Have you checked the mode control motor? Does it move at all?

I'm willing to bet a harness isn't connected somwhere. the same thing used to happen in my car, I'm not sure how it works in later civic's but in mine there were two harness connections on the hvac and one wasn't connected.

What's that have to do with anything? His other vents work. Just the middle two don't. He didn't say his heat doesn't work.
