melted my stanley corners!!!
lol, i just put my jdm clear stanelys in the oven to take the cover off, so i could remove the amber bulb casing and they melted! i preheated to 325 and then put them in for about 5min, i was checkin on them about ever 30 seconds, they were fine one minute and then the next time i checked the lense colapsed on itself. i was pretty pissed but i dont really give a **** now... does anyone know where i can get a good clean knock-off set for like 20$?
also, i will be doing an audi a4 hid retrofit into a set of denji projectors next week, does anybody know the time and temp to get the glass off the projector lights w/out destroying those too.

lol, remind me never to eat any of your brownies, cakes, cookies or other baked goods!
I think others usually only bake at 200, according to the many various posts on this. Shoulda searched H-T first knucklehead!!

yeah yeah, so i will be punished by the jdm stunna fairy, should i try it with another set of stanleys and risk another 50$ or get a knock off set?

Yeah, why the hell were you trying to take the amber part out of the corners?
Just buy some normal clears... the ones w/o the clear reflector... just all clear "vision-style".
Scared there would be a little bit of vague amber color in your clear corner? Weirdo.

damn i shoulda dusted off the flame suit for this thread, i dont care about peopel being able to identify that i have jdm corners or not, i like the all clear look better than amber and i wanted the quality and fitment of the oem stanleys... i have knock offs now and like spoon hybrid said they leak and look like ***, but i figured its hit or miss with them so thats why i asked if anyone knows a site that sell decent ones. i might just get another set of stanleys and leave them alone, at the risk of being a jdm *****.
