i haven't seen that particular piece but i did get a chance to check out one of their chrome dip mufflers, they're super light. look to be good quality. the welds are done by robots using mig process though so you dont get that fancy tig welded appearance. not that it really matters, what matters is flow, and how long it will last. they look to be a quality piece, as most megan racing pieces are. the silencer that comes with it is high heat black with knurled edges and is very sturdy compared to other silencers i've seen that are just cut edges and for that matter not even straight.
for the price i'd definately recommend megan racing products.

if u have a resonator, it wont sound too raspy or rumbling noise. usually having those ebay muffler without resonator will sound crappy as hell.
i had one before, it sound pretty nice. not too loud

I have megan stainless steel headers and I haven't complained since the day I put them on. Good products and cheap too.

Megan Racing Mufflers are awesome. I have been selling them for quite some time and they are better produced than APEXi.
There exhaust systems are full stainless for such a low price.
I will post some pics of the welds on there systems soon.

The welds are beautifully tigged.

My girlfriend has a Megan Racing catback exhaust on her 1996 Maxima and it's great! It fits perfect, sounds nice, and was a great deal. I say go for it

Re: megan racing muffler... any good? (1slow_dx)
Megan Racing products are quality, spoken from experience. I had the Megan Racing exhaust for my turbo 94 GSR- fit perfect, my only complaint was that where the midpipe meets the axleback, the piping shrinks to stock inside diameter. I measured it. The easy solution is to simply saw off the two flanges, then have a muffler shop stretch a sleeve out of 2.5 in pipe that connects the midpipe to the axleback and C clamp them together and that gives you the same diameter throughout .

whats up with that nasty restriction in the top left hand corner of the pic?
You'd really want to have that replaced with 3" piping to match.
the exhaust looks good aside from that though.
steer clear of OBX exhausts, I hear they crack.
