Master, Slave, or Neither
Okay, here's what happened. I'm delivering pizzas in my 94 Coupe w/ and H22 swap (I know, but don't ask), and I suddenly notice I hafta press the clutch pedal all the way to the floor for it to go into gear. By the end of the night, its barely even going into gear, and when I have the clutch pedal fully depressed, I can rev the engine, and move the car, meaning the problem lies within the master cylinder, slave cylinder, or a line. No fluid was lost, so I'm assuming its one of the cylinders. Right now, you can move the pedal with your hand, it is completely limp. When I have someone pump the pedal, the slave cylinder doesn't move at all, so I can run a broken fork/pressure plate out. My friend also tells me he's never seen a master cylinder go bad, but does see the slave cylinders go here and there. Is there any validity to his statement. He's going to sell me a used slave for $20, so tell me. Should this fix my problem?

Re: Master, Slave, or Neither (O RLY)
same thing happened to me, but not delivering pizzas. i checked the spot where i parked at work, and sure enough i had a little spot on the ground. the seals in my slave went bad. as soon as i replaced it, no problems since.
