Default massive gas consumption

i just did a swap in my 93dx coupe, but the car is sucking in massive amounts of fuel. more than expected and i can't figure out why. I'm getting like 10-12mpg if that. Its horrible!! i got a fuel pressure regulator(yet to be installed ) and i'm getting a vafc to see if that makes a difference.

my setup
b18c
skunk2 intake manifold
aem short ram
dc 4 to 1 header (jdm)
mild port and polish
meugen ecu ( i think this might be part of the problem, fuel map to aggresive)
act stage 2 clutch
stock exhaust

When did the problem start? Anything obvious like fuel leaks?

it's probally not the ecu...I had a very rich ems tune on my car and i was still getting 16mpg. If its your ecu you can feel a BOGGING sensation as your driving. My car basically would bog like hell all the time with the rich tune.

well, put that regulator on there along with a PRESSURE GAGE and let us know what you find out.

yeah it seems that i'm running rich because of how much exhast smoke is comming out(it cold here so you can see it) and the smell from it. this problem occured right after the swap when i drove it.

are you running stock injectors or RCs? if you have RCs you need a resistor box. also, pull off your FPR vacuum line and see if theres fuel in it. My friends internals of his FPR came apart and the supercharger was sucking lots of fuel into his engine. just a couple of ideas....

Also, If you fix this problem, please let me know if the VAFC or FPR helped because I'm having a problem with fuel consumption on a SOHC right now. Hope everything works out though.

werd! I'm also having this problem. It used to like 16 mpg but now it's like 19mpg. BTW that's normal driving not going pass 4-5 k.

its most likely the ecu,
swap it with your stock one and see if theres a difference
