Default A mass murder scene, with a twist of lazy

I need to pull out my Type-R engine.
Again.
I'm upgrading to a 2.0 stroker kit this time, but the last time I pulled it out for mods I ended up with a can full of damaged parts - not pretty.
Anyone know a good source for pulling engines, so I can avoid this again?
I just want a basic step-by-step checklist. That, and a video camera should do me in. Thanks for any help you can give.

Can full of damaged parts?

How did you take it out? What was in this "can full of damaged parts?"

Aside from a few stripped bolts, broken pulleys, lines and coolant connections? the runners on my intake manifold magically 'detatched' from the mounting plate and I destroyed a motor mount. Needless to say I'm a lot more experienced at dismantling an engine now, but I'd rather have a second guided influence as a safety precaution.
