Can you guys give me a brief idea on market price of 2000 si and 1992 si HB?
I am thinking about just getting into a 2K si and selling my 92 si HB. Just kinda sick of going into another project car that involves lots of effort and labor work.. want a fun car that I can drive back and forth from work...

Just bought a 1992 Civic Si with 144,000 miles on it for $3800. Car is completely stock with a few exterior blemishes, need a new fender, guy bought it for me, I just have to paint it and slap it on. I was happy to find an Si for thsi cheap, buncha 93's going for $5k+, thats crazy for a stock Si... Good luck selling the car!

EDIT: This guy was also preppin' the car for the SCAA season, new pumps, hoses, belts, etc.

i just bought a 92 civic si hatch for 5800....its got a couple of mods though...i wondered if it was priced too high, but my boys adivsed me and told me it was a decent price..

that's what I had in mind too... but I also have a type R with endyn + toda mods... and it turns out to be quite a headache.. do I want to go thru that (even only potentially)? hmm....
But I also thought about SirII swap. and thought it really is a higher $ value swap... From my research, the cheapest B18C5 swap is around 4800. SirII is about 2700....

Sup to you bro, honestly, if you want TECHNICAL information I'm totally not the first person you'd talk to. I'm still being weaned by my nextdoor neighbor with his 2k si, hes pulling me into the autox scene. This will mark my third car since i turned sixteen, and im 17 now

Good luck deciding on a swap though.

I bought my 92SI a year ago for about $4400US with 65k miles....prob gonna go with a B20.

Yikes, I guess I just made out then. This one isn't modded yet, but thats prolly where my extra $2k that I saved will go. I guess I just consider myself lucky, i came home and saw this car, carfaxed it, check out, then used "But It Now" on ebay. Hah, I bought a car over ebay....

92 si = 3000-5000 thats the most i would pay for one
2000 si's i have seen them for 10,000-14,000 depending on mileage

2k Si with mileage right around being out of warranty 36K+ will go for 14.5k easy around here...

i just bought a hatchback Si 92 with with 128000 miles on it. The exterior has liek 2 tiny dings and the rest is clean. the inteior is excellent, the seats are very firm. The paint looks new but its factory paint. I bought it for $2800

Not that mileage matters if you are going to do a swap, I tink that's a good price given the low mileage on the chasis...

there is one on ebay.. with theft title.. but seller says everything was replaced from another si... 9K or so..
