maplights

i been meaning to put maplights in my car. but the thing is i have a 95 ex w/ a sunroof. i wanted to put integra maplights exactly where its located in integras (between the sun visors) but the fuckin sunroof motor is right there. anyone with a 92-95 si/ex conquer this problem? is there enough room between the headliner and sunroof motor to make this work?

my 96 ex coupe has a maplight right between the visors - doesnt interfear with the motor.

Try using that as a starter?

I bought a JDM optional rear view mirrior for my Si that has maplights built in. You could probably find a similar mirror from a newer car and wire it up. Most window mounted mirrors all mount the same way. just an Idea.

The maplight only sticks up out of the headliner about a half an inch. So you should have enough room to mount it.

Re: (Hugh G. Rection)

I've installed my Si maplight, but I also don't have a sunroof.

Maybe someone will actually have one, or you could just pop your headliner down, and measure the space that you would have. It would kinda suck though.
