Default Map Sensor Problem HELP!

hey if anyone could help me out my check engine light when on when i hit boost and it wont get off thats stage i turned off the car and back on and its running really rich i checked the codes and it shows map sensor i changed it and it still reads map sensor and its runing like crap help me out

do you have anything to prevent boost getting to the MAP?Missing Link or check valves?
check the associated wires for shorts or breaks.a shop manual contains the troubleshooting procedure for the sensor itself- i don't have mine here so i can't provide that.

i dont know if this will help because your question is hard to understand but did you reset the ecu?

yeh unplugged the battery i was boosting and it read boost i turned it off and it wouldnt start then the check engine light when on like if it was reading boost and the the only way it will stay on

you prolly damaged the map sensor by boosting on it. They say 11lbs is the max. Any more and you may rupture the diaphram inside it so it doesnt work at all....

i tryed my friends map sensor and it still didnt work i also put mine on his car and his car ran fine

just get a blox missing link there like 50 bux and then reset your ecu by pulling the back up fuse in the fuse box under the hood and everything should work fine for you good luck

i had the missing link on when this all happened and it still reads boost and now it just stays as if it was reading boost with the cel light on all this black **** is coming out of my exhuast
