Default Map Sensor firewall or TB?

Ok on my VX that is getting a b16 swap the map sensor was on the tb on the vx motor and the b16 has none. I assume it needs the firewall mounted map like on my old 92 dx hatch. On it when I swaped out the dx with a d16z6 it had it on the tb so I just got rid of the firewall mounted one (damn). Now it's the other way around. So which firewall mounted MAP will work on my car? My friend has a 90-91 map but isn't that obd0?

Thanks!

it's a jdm 2nd gen and it's not on the TB that I can see. Found some pics that show what it looks like.

On my JDM B16 it is located by the firwall, behind the intake manifold.

You can either buy an ls tb with the map sensor located on top and put that on your motor or you can take the map sensor off of your vx motor and mount it somewhere. Note: dont make the hoses too long if you decided to put it on your firewall as the map sensor will have hard time getting an accurate reading.

I found a extra firewall mounted crx map sensor from my brothers crx swap. It plugs in to my vx harness fine and has the nipple (hehe) for the vac. hose to the TB. This should work ok right?

ya thats what I was thinking...one from a crx, or older civic should work out.

if not...just use your stock map sensor, and zip tie the vac hose on so it won't slip.
they both read the same, just placed in differant spots
