Re: manuel window regulator install
Is there one to replace the rear window motor assembly in a del sol 93?
I started to attempt myself but thought I better seek professional help or an online guide with pictures would be the bees knees.
It looks much more complicated than the right/left windows.

Re: manuel window regulator install
These are so easy.
1. roll the rgulator down till you see two bolts on the moving arm show up at the bottom. One will be accessed through the large hole, the other through an inch sized hole toward the right, remove those bolts. They are holding your window in. Pull the window up and out.
2. Look toward the middle of the door. You will see a series of brass covered bolts. All of them deal with mounting your regulator. Remove them and make sure to have a hand on the reg. before the last bolt is removed. Disconnect plugs and such if you have power and the regulator and accessories will slide right out the large hole in the bottom.
3. Get new regulator and reassemble with the other window parts. When you receive the new reg. it'll have a spring on the mounting piece (the mounting piece is what holds the crank/ motor to the gear) that slides over the toothed gear. Turn the mount so the spring tightens, not pulls apart and loosens. It'll be a bitch holding it in place and screwing down the motor to it or w/e you do with the manual (only done powers) but once it's bolted to the motor/ crank it'll stay in place. Make sure you mount it toward the middle of the gear! It won't hurt the motor or anything (they don't have stops on their gears, they stop when pressure is applied.) it's just the regulator won't be able to be mounted the more the mount is higher on or lower on the gear, so set in the middle. Slide the reg in the hole, bolt and connect back up, move it to the two holes on the bottom, slide the window into the track and bolt up.
EASY!
