It's not a lubrication issue. It's a bent track/regulator issue. It's a very very very super common problem with 6th gens, both power and manual. I currently can't roll down my passenger window because my track is too bent, and it'd pop the window out about 2" if I rolled it down and then tried to get it back up.

mine rolls up n down (fine) but its a little heavy to do...i was thinking ...lubricate... by they way mine doesnt pop out 2 inch so i don't have a major problem... just lube issue... maybe yours (its not a lubrication issue) ...mine is...

It always starts as feeling a "little heavy"

Check to make sure your window hasnt gone off its track? also check to make sure the weather stripping is all in place. it's happened twice on my bros' 98 and once barely on my sis 00. on her the regulator ended up gettin jacked up so had to buy another one. gl!
