Manual vs power door weight 5th gen
I am building my 93 EX per SCCA SMF rules and I am trying to lighten it up. The car currently has doors with power windows and locks. Does anyone know how much lighter doors are with manual windows and locks if they are at all?

Very minimal.
The sound deadening material is more weight than the small amount of electronics and if there is a difference in the window framing/rails etc.

I meant the sound deadening under the carpets.
Using it as an example of significant weight reduction compared to the area you are focused on.

Kind of what I figured. I may just keep an eye out at junkyards for a set.
I am trying to get the car as close to 2000lbs as possible with a turbo. Currently at 2212lb without any of the underhood A/C components, stereo, windshield washer system, sun visors or rear seat and without a turbo. I still have the wiring for the stereo, any A/C components under the dash and the sunroof to remove and I am going to swap to a lightweight hood, mirrors, front seats and front fenders at some point.
