i need to pick some shorter bolts the same size up from lowes so i can put my d16 block on my stand, but i can't remember the thread pitch. i think they are 14 mm. but idk the thread pitch. thanks a bunch guys |
Re: Manual transmission bolts
what bolts are you talkin about? flywheel bolts, clutch bolts, or the bolts that bolt the trans to the motor? be more specific!

Re: Manual transmission bolts
well i figured it would be an easy guess by saying i wanted to put my engine on my stand. but i guess thats not enough.
its the bolts that connect the transmission to the engine. |
Re: Manual transmission bolts
M12-1.25 - common (probably most of our 17mm head bolts)
M12-1.5 -- lugnuts) M14-1.25 - crank bolt?) M14-1.5 -- I think its the m12 x 1.25 not really sure tho. hope i helped you |
Re: Manual transmission bolts
Just use a spacer on the bolts you have to put it on the stand. If you by new bolts for every engine you put on the stand you'll be wasting a lot of money (or you don't work on shit).
