Default Manual Pedal Assembly

Hi everyone, I'm doing a auto to manual conversion. I got everything I need except the pedals.... By any chance does EG or DC2 manual pedals fit in a 98 EK.... Looked across every thread and no answer.

It'll fit but if you're gonna use the eg/dc2 gas pedal than you might need to change the throttle cable. The way the 96-00 civics holds the cable is different from the 92-95 civics

Thanks tony, anybody else knows if for sure they'll fit? It's hard to come across EK pedal assembly in south Florida. And dc2 and eg pedals are the same right?

The clutch pedal is the same, the brake pedal isn't. However I think you can swap the pedal arm itself from a set of EG/EK pedals to the old automatic EK pedal bracket. Keep the EK gas pedal, they're the same between automatic and manual (EG/EK aren't btw)

If you just install the clutch pedal you should be fine, just don't swap all of them, or install clutch pedal and swap brake pedal because the automatic brake pedal is different from the manual brake pedal.

Whatever you do, DON'T for the love of god leave the auto brake pedal installed after your MT swap. This is height of unwise and a short cut to a trip to the hospital and sending your car to the wreckers.

Ouch! If you already know, then just move along. There's no need for this type if reaction.

Do you have any pics of this? I'd like to see what it looks like.

Its not the height but length of the auto pedal vs the manual pedal. I'll take pics tomorrow. I just pulled the dash and pulled the firewall harness. I'll try to finish doing my replacement of the firewall harness and pedals tomorrow.

My idiotic *** thought the RHD pedal assembly would work on the LHD cars, nope. So off to the junkyard again. But yes if you install the clutch pedal and not switch out the brake pedal it will sit really close. I did find an image of both the manual brake pedal and automatic brake pedal for you.
