Default Manifold swap, car won't start

i have a d16y7 with auto tranny and swapped in a y8 manifold from a 5spd 96-98.

everything seems to be plugged correctly and the engine is turning over but it won't start. The Cel doesn't come on either.
heres a list of everything used:

5spd y8 manifold w/ iavc blocked off
y7 throttle body with y8 TB rotor
y7 manifold gasket
new hoses.

pics of the connections

the iavc on the y8 manifold is on the back of the manifold. and is blocked to prevent leaks.

since its going onto a y7 block, i have to use the y7 iavc. which is on the throttle body

well.. ideas.. since u havent said what you've done to see why it doesnt work i guess we'll start with some basic ideas..

after turning it over a whole **** load of times go pull a plug out n smell it.. got milk? i mean gas?.. if so

next let gas go away dont want to make fire.. fire = not fun.. so once gas goes away test ur plugs.. got milk? damnit i mean spark ? if so

sooo gotta gues u dont got air then...
try opening up the idle screw all the way maybe? or popping a hose maybe ur floodin it out eh?

w0ng_sta is on the right track. If you know everything is plugged in correctly, you gotta work it backwards and check for spark and fuel.
