making crossmember bars for 96 civic coupe??
What's up ht, I was wanting to ask a few questions.
I want cross bars in the back of my civic but can't seem to find any for it
Its like they don't sell it for my model?
If anyone knows of a website or anything that sells them for my coupe, it would be greatly appreciated if you can put the link up?
Buut I was thinking of just making my own
I have all the tools and stuff necessary to make em
I just don't know what size of steel I should use? Or what would be best to use for the bars themselves?
Any feedback would be great!
Thnx!

If you can make your own then I don't understand the need to post.
They don't make any for coupes or sedans. That would be stupid. Even in the hatches they seem to be just for looks.

go buy some 1 1/4" or 1 1/2" steel tubing and weld in what you want... i plan on doing that to my hatch... i dont want a bling bling polished non functional x bar.. i want rigid strong steel tubing for mine..

The ARC ones I've seen are solid bar(3/4" I believe) but like " sleepyaccord96" said, tubing will work better. Just do what you think is going to work, and at the worst, you got some fab experience, and piece of mind. That alone is worth the money and time spent!

Sounds like he's describing Miracle X bars. I say that because he said he couldn't find anything for a coupe but these are easily found by search.
