Its not that bad.. just to name a few.. you need manual tranny, pedals, clutch line, clutch reservor, flywheel and clutch.. if you dont have a tach get a different gauge cluster, manual ecu but those two you could always get later on. Its not that bad, your car is premade to have gone either auto or manual so you just need to punch out the holes for the new pedals.. but there are lot of facts and info in here just look and good luck.. let us know how it goes.. You will be happy after its all done.. If you could find a cheap donor go with that.. I bought my 92 civic hb running auto for 300 great condition and i bought a rear end crashed manual civic ex donor for 100 running so in all a 400 manual civic hb.. Just look for some deals.. There is always the junkyard but if you like the car then do it.. It shouldnt be that much cost wise..

I've swapped 2 automatic '92 - '95 civics from auto to manual and its really not that hard at all, you don't say what year the coupe is but if its a '93 to '95 you'll need to either cut off the automatic passenger's side pocket mount and weld on the manual version or buy a special mount. other than that everything just bolts up like it was always there. If you can get the wiring harness out of the manual vehicle, or at least parts of it i'd get the clutch relay for the starting circuit, the wires actually don't go very far into the interior harness so its easy to get them out, then just pin into existing auto harness and your clutch start switch will work as intended, everyone else just seems to jump the 2 main wires, which works, but then the car starts in every gear. Anyway to answer your question, no its not really very hard at all, but take your time and do it right.
