I have a 95 ex civic with a 1.5 turbo setup and 2days ago I started my car to let it warm up like I always do and after 10min I turned it off. Shortly after I got in my car to drive off and when I got about 100yrds from my house the car cut off, I started the car back up and the car idled at like 200 rpm and was sputtering like crazy and if you stepped on the gas it would cut off, so I let it sit for about 30min and started it up again and the car wouldn't go past 4000 rpm so I towed it home any ideas as to what is going on

The fuel is about 2 weeks old and the tune up was done about a month ago and how would i check the ignitor?

i dnt know i borrowed my buddies to see if anything changed. so not sure what to tell u on that one, ill ask my one buddy see if he knows ill get back to you

ok bro i called my buddy he is honda mech. take the cap off and there is 2 screws on the coil. take a test light to them screws on the coil see how it blinks and lights the test light up. if it blinks its prob bad if it stays on solid it should be fine. hope this helps you

dont know i took the cap off the distrib. and check the rotor and used the test light and the light didnt stay on so im trying to think of what else might be wrong the damn car hasn't moved in 2 weeks

if it didnt stay on when you checked it then it may be bad. try replacing it
