MAJOR fuel problem PLEASE HELP!!!!!
Ok my 99 Civic EX with the greddy turbo kit has gotten worse, and still no one has been able to figure it out. I replaced the map sensor, and added the synapse missing link, and the car keeps getting worse. For example, my integra takes a quarter tank of gas to get to nashville and back from my house. the civic however, takes an ENTIRE tank of gas......and im not even boosting on it either. it will also hardly not idle at all...and i did the IACV check by unplugging it to see if it changed and it did...which means its working. also im throwing tons of fuel out my exhaust. the other day i was sitting at a red light andthe civic was doing the wierd idle thing when soundly it jumped a few inches and began idling normally......besides the horrible missing the vehicle now has (ive replaced the plugs twice now, and all the wires, cap, and rotor) it runs pretty smooth while driving. does anybody have any clue as to what could be causing this?? im running out of $$ for gas!!! oh btw...somebody suggested it could possibly be the distributor?

Re: (Relic1)
ive got the greddy emanage system...the guy who owned it before me said he got it tuned and the settings were changed somewhat, but i just now took it apart and set it back to factory. there are no tuning shops around here besides nashville and they want to charge an arm and leg.....i believe im supposed to take it to a honda pro this weekend to test the fpr but i wanted to know if anyone had any ideas. right now i just restarted it after resetting the greddy system...and its idling ok right now...but i seriously doubt that was the problem so im going to drive it a bit to see if it starts idling funky again

Have you changed your O2 sensors recently? That will play a major role in fuel mileage.
This last part is a dum - dum but a friend loaded his trunk with an amp and an enclosure with 2 12''s, mounted 17''s and wiiide 225 sized tires and wondered the same thing.

umm I don't care if he has 4 amp/sub enclosures in there, on 225 sized tires, it's not going to increase your gas use by 400%
EDIT:
As for your fuel problem, it sounds like the A/F map is horribly off, or the fuel pressure regulator, becausae you're just dumping fuel, I'd recommend running the integra until you grasp what's wrong with it...might wanna look into that greddy system the guy b4 you had on that...might have changed something and got all fucky, 'tis why it's running the way it is...or maybe it isn't, but I guarantee that has something to do with it
